Track 1: Trainers

Goal: Own the Phase 1 and Phase 2 client conversations — open the door with AI transformation, drive Copilot Chat adoption, and identify upsell opportunities.

Module 1.1 — The AI Transformation Story (Week 1)

Learning objectives:

  • Articulate why the agentic AI era matters to business leaders
  • Explain the 1.3 billion agents by 2028 projection and what it means for customers
  • Position Copilot as the UI for AI and the Copilot Control System as the governance layer

Content to study:

  • LUCSP Deck: “02. Copilot Agents Part 01” — slides on Transformation Urgency section
  • Microsoft Ignite 2025 keynote highlights (referenced in training decks)

Exercises:

  1. Write a 2-minute elevator pitch for a CIO explaining why they should care about Copilot right now
  2. Deliver the pitch to a colleague and get feedback
  3. Practice handling the “we’re not ready for AI” objection

Module 1.2 — Know the Product (Week 1–2)

Section titled “Module 1.2 — Know the Product (Week 1–2)”

Learning objectives:

  • Explain the difference between Copilot Chat, M365 Copilot, and Copilot Business without looking at notes
  • Walk through the feature comparison table from memory
  • Articulate the M365 Copilot architecture (RAG pipeline, Graph, Azure OpenAI, Responsible AI, Purview) at a level appropriate for technical buyers

Exercises:

  1. Draw the M365 Copilot architecture on a whiteboard from memory — label all 6 stages
  2. Role-play a client meeting: colleague plays a skeptical IT Director, you explain Copilot’s data handling and security model
  3. Fill out a blank feature comparison table (Copilot Chat vs M365 Copilot) without reference materials

Module 1.3 — Pricing, Licensing & the Sales Motion (Week 2)

Learning objectives:

  • Quote all SKU prices, bundle prices, and the PAYG agent rate from memory
  • Explain when to recommend PAYG vs. full license vs. Copilot Business
  • Position the SMB bundles during renewal conversations
  • Understand current promotional windows and how to leverage them

Exercises:

  1. Given 5 customer profiles (varying sizes, M365 plans, usage levels), recommend the right Copilot SKU and justify it
  2. Role-play a renewal conversation where you introduce Copilot Business bundles
  3. Calculate the break-even point for PAYG vs. licensed for a customer with 50 users averaging 1,500 agent messages/month

Learning objectives:

  • Deliver a live Copilot Chat demo (web chat, Pages, file upload)
  • Deliver a live M365 Copilot demo (Teams meeting recap, Outlook drafting, Word document creation, Excel formulas)
  • Demo agent creation in Copilot Studio (simple retrieval agent via Agent Builder)

Content to study:

  • Microsoft monthly Copilot demo training materials (aka.ms/LevelUpCSPBootcamp)
  • LUCSP Lab: Agent Builder exercise (Lab 1)

Exercises:

  1. Record yourself delivering a 10-minute Copilot Chat demo — watch it back and identify dead air or confusion
  2. Deliver a live M365 Copilot demo to the team covering at least 3 apps
  3. Build a simple agent in Agent Builder and demo it to a non-technical colleague

Module 1.5 — Delivering Client Workshops (Week 3)

Learning objectives:

  • Structure and deliver a 1–2 hour AI Transformation Briefing for a client
  • Facilitate a Getting Started Workshop for Copilot Chat rollout
  • Conduct a Train-the-Trainer session for client champions

Content to study:

  • LUCSP Deck: “01. Introduction FY26Q2” — program structure, delivery formats
  • Microsoft Train the Trainer materials (bi-annual, available via aka.ms/LevelUpCSPBootcamp)

Exercises:

  1. Develop your own 90-minute AI Transformation Briefing deck (customize the LUCSP content for our brand)
  2. Deliver it to the internal team as a dry run — get timed and scored on clarity, engagement, and objection handling
  3. Create a 1-page leave-behind for clients summarizing key takeaways and next steps
